Transforming access to justice

The Free Legal Clinics Project was born out of a vision to transform access to justice, recognizing the critical need for legal support that is both accessible and culturally sensitive. Spearheaded by Keegan Jones, a Ngāti Hine lawyer, this initiative seeks to create a revolutionary space where individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly Māori and other indigenous communities, feel valued, respected, and truly understood.

Our practice is rooted in Tikanga Māori

Manaakitanga

Grounding our work in manaakitanga allows us to try provide aroha and care. We strive to empower and foster compassion within our community.

Whanaungatanga

We are passionate about providing a safe, inclusive space for all our whānau. Creating genuine connections allow us to effectively provide transformative growth.

Mohiotanga

We approach our work with an open mind and a willingness to share our knowledge. Practicing mohiotanga allows us to work holistically to achieve shared growth.
